Defense of marriage

Some interesting comments from callers this morning on a "listener line" edition of the Walt Bodine Show, in the state that just voted to constitutionally outlaw same-sex marriage. Several people have pointed out that any legal "defense of marriage" would logically have to include a ban on divorce.

Since divorce seems to be pretty popular among prominent conservative Republicans, though, I doubt they'll be pushing this issue any time soon.
