News stories make me wonder sometimes.

For example, take this headline from CNN: Hoping to adopt, mom instead has to bury toddler.

I see a story like this, and I wonder. Maybe there is a higher being watching over us, but would we even know the difference if there wasn't? If there were two Earths, and one had a God and the other one didn't, would we be able to tell them apart?

Sorry if I sound cranky. Got some bad news in the family today.
